whether i wanted to admit it or not, i have been in internal mourning. i haven't been able to deal with much of anything in the last three months. so, after nearly hitting new lows for myself several times, i finally feel ready to move on and really shake it off so that i can shake it up.


after rereading my "declaration of shakedependence," i can't help but notice how vague, melodramtic, and lame it sounds. and while it is very annoying, that's exactly how i have been feeling.

i repeat the same toxic cycles in my life and for what? so i can win against them? maybe it's more about not letting them win. sometimes it is worth it. sometimes it is not.

i miss diane already. sara and i had too much fun being domestic to our hearts delight. an's army of diane cupcakes were delicious. and brian and sara made it possible to groove to the oldies.

ps quilting is the new knitting.

i'm not ready. i'm unprepared and unwilling to go on. so i'm just going to sit here. just for a little bit. ok. doke.

i saw an escalade today. it had an extra wheel attached to the back of the car. and even that extra wheel had a spinner on it.

the cell phone case that diane got me from china has a cute and soft puppy on it. his tiny collar is encrusted with diamonds and even has a gold pendant on it.
