i find that when life gets hectic, and time is a crunch, i get really stressed out, but also satisfied in a strange way.
what has pinned me against the wall of time is mostly work. those 10hr. days working in the trench is nerve racking, dirtifying, and sweat-producing. it makes simple tasks such as getting ready to meet up with friends or going to rehersals or something into a strategic process becauase it entails transforming myself from a dirt scrub with hardhat hair and reverse racoon face tan back into a girl who doesn't stank. and i've only got 15 min or less.
and it's kind of romantic like the britney spears video "u drive me crazy" where she's working as a waitress by day, then she changes into her party time outfit and does that chair-leaning-bosom thing. or like clark kent who rips off his shirt to reveal his superself. and so i'm thinking i must enjoy this process so much because it sheds off the mundane, making ends meet, dirt scrub aspect of me to show my other self, a girl that's on a mission to beat traffic and smell pleasant.
so when it is all said and done, who cares if i didn't perform well that night, at least i get there ontime (for the most part) and i'm so fresh and so clean clean.
