i should be in bed right now since i need to be awake in a just a few hours. but i wanted to jot this down before i forgot.
the other day i finally had the opportunity to pick up my diploma from sproul. i got to stroll through the face-lifted plaza, and it took a second to register that it was newly completed. anyhow, i picked up this official piece of paper validating my 4 years of education and then walked down telegraph to my car. so as i was walking, the usual gutterpunks and homeless people hassled and heckled. and that was normal, but it seemed odd. this is corny, but it kinda felt like that walk down telegraph was my real "walk" across the stage of the "real" world or something. and with all the powers of a college degree in my hand, i failed to have a quarter on me to spare.
